Rita Mano (Professor) Short Biography
Rita Mano published three books, 65 publications, participates regularly in international conferences and is involved in community and business activity in Northern Israel. She served as the Chair of the Department of Human Services and the Chair of the Haifa-Boston Committee for inequality. She has been awarded the Taub award for outstanding PHD thesis (Techion, Polytechnic Institute of Haifa). She has received two research funding supports for the conduction of research in the area of social media and health. She engages in the study of a wide range of health and management issues – including nonprofit performance, accountability, networks, Human resources management and crisis management in Human Services and Health institutions. She has a postdoctoral experience in RAND USA and two Sabbatical terms in the UK. She publishes in wide range of peer-review journals including Administration and Society, Human Relations, Journal of Management Studies, Journal of Technology in Human Services, Computers in Human Behavior, Voluntas).
